![]() ![]() ![]() Now av's include anti-rootkit scanning and I wasn't sure if things had changed back again. Then programs stopped including it in instructions and I stopped doing it w/out noting problems. Most programs included that instruction in their install instructions and some reminded you when you started the install. Back in the old, old days it was routine to turn off av protection before doing installs.
